Welcome to my "scriptorium."

Among collaged art pieces you will find lovely jewels to adorn yourself with.

I thought I should give some information regarding my artwork.
I've spent many years exploring universal symbolism, language and all things I find sacred. This exploration has led me to discover that through my manipulation of paper, thread, ink, paint wood stains and the addition of beautiful images, I am able to express my discoveries.

I love the written word, I love old manuscripts and the idea of the people who used to sit in cold dark rooms hand writing them, dipping quills in ink, natural pigments, and sometimes gold. I love the history of books before printing. I sometimes think that maybe in some distant life I was one of those people tolling away with freezing hands.

During the last 10 years I have included in my artwork what I call "Automatic Writing". I have managed to create a script that has completely developed from my imagination, touching upon what I can not verbalize but is simply known.

My writing has been a catalyst to the creative process which tells a story that is left for you to discover through your own thoughts, imagination and emotions.

Through my jewelry I hope to convey all things I find pretty and shiny.
