DIY Projects: Fan Box Parts

This is a FREE design template to partner the 'DIY: Solar-Powered Attic-To-Basement Fan' web page: http://chrismolloy.com/www/p116

This item provides the template for the four 4mm [0.16"] -thick plywood pieces used to construct the fan boxes.

The template is designed to be applied to a P3 material sheet. I can recommend any of the plywoods as a suitable material.<br></br><img alt="01" src="http://static1.ponoko.com/design_images/images/351/8ddddba8-6c8a-3e0e-9333-4283ae48e93b/01.01.01_showroom_image.png" />

DIY Projects: Jigs And Router Templates: 1/8 Scarfing Jigs

This is a FREE design template to partner the 'Dinghy Building: Houdini' web page: http://chrismolloy.com/www/p130

This design contains two jigs: a simple 1/8 angle for use with a table or drop saw; a pair of end pieces that are joined with a pair of 22mm aluminium channels to create a 1/8 sliding jig for use with an electric plane. Also included is a 'boot' that fits to the rear of a Riobi 82mm plane to carry it inside the sliding jig.

The template is designed to be applied to a P2 material sheet. I can recommend the double-sided whiteboard as a suitable material.<br></br><img alt="01" src="http://static3.ponoko.com/design_images/images/351/a93cf6db-023b-387c-b847-53d72dcc2be5/01.99.03.01_showroom_image.png" />

DIY Projects: Jigs And Router Templates: Houdini Frame And Centrecase

This is a FREE design template to partner the 'Dinghy Building: Houdini' web page: http://chrismolloy.com/www/p130

This design contains router templates for the centrecase and the frame member used in frame #3 and #5. Note that the centrecase template combines the two ends into a single template (i.e. part of the template is used to shape each end of the centrecase).

The template is designed to be applied to a P3 material sheet. I can recommend the double-sided whiteboard as a suitable material.

For The Home: Clock Face: Nautilus

This item consists of a clock face in the form of a stylised nautilus shell. The number of 'cells' corresponds to the numbers one to twelve. You will need to source and install your own clock mechanism.

This item is comprised of two pieces made from 3mm [1/8"] -thick acrylic plastic, bonded together. The 'front' piece is orange in the accompanying images, and the 'rear' piece is red. Both pieces can be supplied in any combination of colours available from Ponoko, at no extra cost. I can particularly recommend using a transparent colour on top of an opaque colour. The default size for this item is 300mm [11.8"] high, but other size options are available. To view the size and colour options before you buy, see http://rraadd.com/www/02.02.02

The clock face has a 5mm [0.2"] Ø hole in the centre for mounting your clock mechanism through. You can drill this to size yourself, but if you know the exact size hole you need, I can cut the hole to meet your specific requirements for no extra cost.

I can ship this product anywhere that Ponoko can reach, but I'll need to quote you for your specific location. Please contact me for a shipping quote.

Please feel free to contact me before you buy if you have any questions!

In 1902 Charles Rennie Mackintosh was commissioned to design Hill House, in Helensburgh, Scotland. Squares, rectangles and lines defined the motif for the house and its furnishings. Amongst the most recognised of pieces designed for the house is Mackintosh's hall clock, replicated here.

This item consists of a clock face cut from the 3mm [1/8"] -thick acrylic plastic of your choice and bonded to a white foam-board backing. The default size for this item is 300mm [11.8"] high/wide, but other size options are available. To view the size and colour options before you buy, see http://rraadd.com/www/02.02.01

Please note that you will need to source your own clock mechanism to fit onto the clock face.
