Penrose tile coaster, clear acrylic, 4 of 4

A thick, transparent acrylic coaster, laser cut and engraved into the shapes of Penrose tiles. (Penrose tiles form an infinitely non-repeating pattern out of 2 basic shapes.) This is one of a series of 4 distinct patterns (see my showroom) that can be joined together in a variety of ways. Sharp, clean lines and precision fitting. Photo shows 0.354" thick acrylic. Roughly 5.4x5.5".

Please note, the patterns in this series aren't designed to tile into an expandable, solid surface of Penrose tiles. Rather, the tiles are configured to lock together into interesting compositions that emphasize a dynamic, asymmetrical aesthetic.<br></br><img alt="Penrose-coaster-4_showroom_image" src="http://static2.ponoko.com/design_images/images/71263/4920283b-66e8-aadb-2f6d-4c74134b7937/penrose-coaster-4_showroom_image.jpg?1368243641" />

Coats @ Apt 5E

A practical coathanger with space to hang keys and put pictures or mirrors on top.

It´s the first product of a series of items designed in Apartment 5E somewhere in West Village, New York City.

No glue required to put the piece together (although you can use it). It fully holds itself by stacking together. Takes 10mins and is really easy.<br></br><img alt="Coats_at_apt_5e_showroom_image" src="http://static0.ponoko.com/design_images/images/59980/51ebb0cc-7023-52dd-8db2-585d60ef644f/coats_at_apt_5e_showroom_image.jpg?1367686083" />

It's tough to beat the Terawatt Industries Universal Y-Axis Plate made from T-6061 Aluminum for strength, durability, and lightweight action on a RepRap. But laser-cut acrylic comes close! This version lets you choose your color and thickness. The Universal Y-Axis Plate is especially designed for RepRaps to maximize z-axis travel and minimize weight.

The laser-cut version has been further customized for laser-cutting. No sharp corners here!

Any pictures of the original aluminum y-axis plate, or the machine(s) it's attached to, are for demonstration purposes only. We don't have any in stock for photos yet. Currently they're made-to-order by Ponoko in the USA.

Specifications:
- Choose between many colors: black, clear, red, red-tint, blue-tint, opal, white
- 4.5mm-thick
- Same size as Terawatt Industries Universal Y-Axis Plate: 220mm x 220mm.
- Second plate is 167.5mm x 130.25mm
- Hole placement is same as classic Mendel, Prusa, MendelMax, etc.
- 100mm spacing between bushing mounts
- Holes for MK1, MK2, or other compatible heatbed are 2.3mm diameter to tap for M3 screw.
- Extra holes for wire clamps.
- M3 screw holes for bushing mounts.
- Low profile for increased z-axis travel.

More information about the Universal Y-Axis Plate can be found at http://store.terawattindustries.com/27-terawatt-industries-universal-y-axis-plate.html.

Acrylic Dual Y-Axis Plates for RepRap 3D Printer

It's tough to beat the Terawatt Industries Universal Y-Axis Plate made from T-6061 Aluminum for strength, durability, and lightweight action on a RepRap. But acrylic comes close! This version lets you choose your color and comes with a second (lower) plate. The lower plate can be used for mounting bearings. We included this for anybody who needs a replacement and doesn't want to mess with their z-axis. Otherwise, we recommend just using the universal plate and getting the extra travel.

- 100mm spacing between bushing mounts
- Holes for MK1, MK2, or other compatible heatbed are 2.3mm diameter to tap for M3 screw.
- Extra holes for wire clamps.
- Both Universal plate and lower plate have holes for bushing mounts. You really should migrate to the Universal plate and increase z-travel...

Custom Wedding Bokeh Filter Kit (use w/ 50mm 1.4 lens)

With this 9-piece bokeh kit, you can create customized bokeh photos for special events. Brides-to-be will love these bokeh effects in their engagement photos and wedding pics.

I know the heart bokeh has been done before. But I just couldn’t resist the “awww” factor that I got from my wife :)

How to use:
Carefully place bokeh filter in front of lens. (Careful! Don’t touch your lens!)
Set your camera to the lowest f-stop possible.
Shoot!

You will need a DSLR camera and a 50 mm 1.4 prime lens. Also, be sure your lens has a 58 mm lens cap. (Lenses and camera are not included with kit)

Have fun shooting with your new filters! And be sure to try the heart filter!

Mouse Recording Studio

The Mouse Recording Studio is a complete recording solution for monitoring mouse ultrasonic vocalizations. This comprehensive system incorporates various sensors and actuators controlled by a base station that sits outside the chamber to allow user input without disturbing the animals inside.

The automated system can monitor environmental variables such as temperature and relative humidity to help you meet animal care standards. Additionally, you can monitor background sound levels through a standard microphone and animal movement through a motion detecting camera.

The system is designed to easily integrate with the wide range of ultrasonic recording amplifiers and a microphone (model CM16/CMPA) from Avisoft to automatically start and stop recording sessions.

Lighting can be controlled manually (red or white light) or on a timed schedule for long-term housing.

Male courtship songs can be triggered by precise delivery of female urine into the recording cage through a peristaltic pump or by releasing a female mouse into a partitioned cage designed to allow olfactory contact but prevent copulation.

The system is controlled by Arduino open-source hardware (Uno R3), and open-source code is provided to get you up and running immediately.

The following add-on modules easily extend system functionality:

1) Hall sensor to monitor door opening and closing
2) Second camera that can be positioned freely positioned

4) Automatic release cage

This structure is made of four interlocking pieces of extra thick sheets of corrugated cardboard which form the walls and second floor, then four small pieces (to be glued to the pop-up cards) which make up the ground floor. Once assembled the structure measures approximately 10.25 square inches. No screws or any other hardware are necessary for assembly. The pieces can be pulled apart for flat storage. ONLY THE FIRST TWO PICTURES SHOW THE HOUSE YOU ARE ORDERING HERE. The other pictures show the house when it is completed with the paper pop-up cards which need to be ordered separately.
Arduino Uno Acrylic Enclosure

This acrylic enclosure holds an Arduino Uno. We haven't tried it with other Arduino models but the design should be generic enough to work with different Uno-type varieties. Please check with us for specifications first before trying to use it with other models.

The front has ports for the USB and power connectors. The top has ports for all the Arduino digital I/O pins, and a separate port for the ICSP header. There's also a port to access the reset button.

The lid is press-fit. The tolerance on the lid is tight enough to hold it securely. No hardware is needed to use this enclosure.

Built with special cement, the small design and 3mm acrylic results in a strong enclosure.<br></br><img alt="Events---1256_showroom_image" src="http://static2.ponoko.com/design_images/images/48087/cedd7c99-f720-5a22-7f5d-b3f1f42fab4d/events---1256_showroom_image.png?1361532023" />

Adomoc Set 20cm - Complete Laser-cut (Acrylic Black Board/Red Tint Pieces, Flat, Engraved)

This is a complete, smaller Adomoc set, which includes the game board and playing pieces.

This is a laser-cut version of the official Adomoc game board (approximately 20cm in diameter and .3cm wide). The playing surface has holes where the spaces for the pieces appear to make them more distinct. This board is black acrylic with the etched portions appearing white. It was adapted for the laser-cutting process by Todorovic from the Keigher design.

The playing pieces (about 1.1cm diameter and .56cm tall) lie horizontally on the board and are wide enough to sit above the holes. The pieces are red, durable acrylic. Half the set is etched so that there are light and dark breeds, composing a complete set of playing pieces (Keigher standard images).<br></br><img alt="Adomoc-black-red-set3_product_page_showroom_image" src="http://static3.ponoko.com/design_images/images/57322/64b5a9c1-8820-0478-1a32-7a1d0b4c65fd/adomoc-black-red-set3_product_page_showroom_image.png?1360382043" />

Taijitu in 3D

The taijitu is a symbol for the ancient idea that the universe is composed of opposite forces, defined in relation to each other, each arising from and giving rise to the other, and each containing the seed of the other. These two are usually called yin and yang, and are usually rendered in black and white. In this rendering, however, we keep the two lobes the same color, and differente them only by their depth, so that the figure more properly represents the idea that yin and yang are not truly opposites, but are complementary reflections of each other.<br></br><img alt="Img_20130131_174107_showroom_image" src="http://static1.ponoko.com/design_images/images/79007/c2205311-5983-b7af-2bb2-b0c225ec6263/img_20130131_174107_showroom_image.jpg?1360084597" />
