Islamic Geo Bookcase Backings - Set of 13

I saw this design in Turkey all over the place, so I thought I'd make some bookcase backings. The design is a dodecagon octogon pattern with joining pieces. The intricate design forms 5-pointed stars. There are 13 different rotations and scales of the pattern in this pack.

A cute little trinket box for tinkerers with annoying girlfriends who always know how to get into your workshop!

Simple slot together shape secures with small amounts of clear glue. Original Art, but can easily modify file to include a different image, or none at all!

Maximises cost and space for the P1 sheet size using shared lines.

I'm A Coaster

Hello my name is Yoichi.

I designed these coasters as if they got something to say to us humans. Comes with four different phrases "Give Me That Drink", "Don't Spill It", "Put It On Me!" & "Yeah That's It!"

A little something to spice up your coffee table.

Dimensions:
Approx 3.4" x 3.4"
(Approx 8.7cm x 8.7cm)

The one shown in the photos is made with the following material.
Bamboo - Blonde
Thickness: 0.3cm
Size: 18.1cm x 18.1cm
Making cost: $9.33
Material cost: $2.63
Plus shipping.

You could be using other materials as you wish, but as the nature of the design, you may not want to use the materials that are too soft because some of the design elements may not show up in the final product.

If you have any question, please send me a message via my Ponoko account!

Steampunk Gears

This set of gears is a design I use for my wall graphic business. It has been very popular with customers and I thought it would look wicked actually cut out of a material so that it would have depth. It would be suitable as wall decor or as accents on DIY cabinets, chests, drawers, boxes etc. One suggestion for finishing this design would be to cut it from MDO and apply a spray brass finish then "weather it" by wiping with some black paint in a few spots, leaving just enough to suggest age and corrosion.

3-in-1 Mona Lisa

Did you know X-ray technology is currently allowing art historians to peer underneath famous works of art and see what might be hidden underneath? We may one day discover that Leonardo da Vinci first painted Mona Lisa as a bad ass pirate or perhaps a stealthy ninja assassin. No need to wait for that almost certain eventuality!

You get:
-Original Mona Lisa!
-Pirate Mona Lisa (with eyepatch and flintlock pistol)
-Ninja Mona Lisa (with katana and throwing star)

These are perfect for etching into wood and other materials that will give you proper contrast. Whiteboard works best from my experience.

I suppose you could also create some kind of Mona Lisa ninja/pirate hybrid but I'm not responsible for what might happen to you...

Giant Hand Pieces

This is a basic design for a giant mechanical/animatronic hand. About 2 to 3 times an average hand.

Each finger will be operated by a single actuator, with the whole assembly needing to be mounted on a glove or other form of fixture.

Will need to be modified for end use, such as drilling holes for attaching actuators, but since that will vary with each application, I'll leave that to the end user to decide.

Instant Photoframe Final Dec P3.svg

This is the .SVG file for the Instant Photo Frame. It is 12 frames on a P3 size - so you can take the file and edit as needed. Due to the increased cost of shipping (and the post office changing envelope sizes) the Instant Frame is now only available as a .SVG file to make at a Ponoko node near you

In February 2008 Polaroid ceased production of their Instant film.

The 'Instant' photo frame enables you to replicate the aesthetic and functionality of this iconic archetype in a picture frame.

Snapping out of a laser cut flat package, the user can take an existing photo, found picture, or printed image and translate it into a 'polaroid' format.

Using the front section of the frame, the image is framed and the corners marked on the image. Then, taking the back section of the frame, and lining up the corner marks, the user marks the cutting guide template.

After trimming, the image can be place into the frame, and using a dry wipe marker, comments can be written, which can be erased and re-written when the images is replaced.

Because there needs to be a tolerence in the laser cuts to allow for different thicknesses of acrylic sheet, you may occasionally notice a gap in between the two faces of acrylic at the top of the frame. This problem can be solved by using a sliver of double sided or a spot of blu tac to fix the frame together.

Celebrity Endorsement by Guy Pierce.

Dry Erase Office Calendar Plan

Even larger than the P2 version; this dry erase calendar can be mounted onto a wall and used by an office to track daily tasks. Right hand field allows space for additional info.
Notes: The calendar will show up with the lines and days not colored in. That's your job! Take a dark dry erase marker and press it into the etchings to fill them. If this seems too tedious, just make the intern do it!
Hints:
-Move or remove the holes depending on how you plan to hang it. Thicker acrylic is better if you want to lean it against something. Do not over tighten mounting screws or you'll crack the acrylic.
-Hang a dry erase maker from a piece of string tied to the cap and always have one handy.
Materials: Use white acrylic. 3mm or thicker. P3 sheet size.
Dimensions: 790 W x 384mm H

Dry Erase Monthly Calendar Plan

Sadly the time has come to throw your '07 "Kitties in Trouble" calendar into the trash... replace it by making your own dry erase calendar! Boxes for each day of the week allow you to easily keep track of work meetings or when that next unemployment check is due. Save calendar money by doodling your own artwork!
Notes: The calendar will show up with the lines and days not colored in. That's your job! Take a dark dry erase marker and press it into the etchings to fill them.
Hints:
-Move or remove the holes depending on how you plan to hang it. Thicker acrylic is better if you want to lean it against something.
-Use at home and make the kids draw you new pieces of art throughout the month.
Materials: Use white acrylic. 3mm or thicker. P2 sheet size.
Dimensions: 384 W x 384mm H
