This is a design for a platter that I came up with for my first attempt at 3D printing. Its made on a SLS 3D printer out of Nylon. Its surprisingly durable which is great but the cost of 3D printing makes it a bit unrealistic. If anyone wants to pay $200 for it then I be willing to talk.

Narrow Bedsie Table

My apartment is small but not tiny. But the space to the side of my bed is almost negligible. There is an unfortunate doorway to the bath 11" away from the bed.

Rather than run across the room to answer the call of my alarm clock, I needed to design a narrow bedside table. Using a 50mm module, I designed a table to fit within 250mm (about 10").

This simple bedside table is made from hardboard. The .eps pattern is cut twice, making two of every part. Besides the sides, each part is used uniquely. The slots at the rear of the table top and upper shelf originated as slots to fit the tabs of the vertical panel at the rear of the upper shelf, but I wanted them to be more than residue for the table top, so I added slots that run to the back of the table. These T and L-shaped slots allow for organization of power cords such as an alarm clock and phone charger.

Table dimensions are 500mm H x 250mm W x 350mm D.

TO ORDER THIS TABLE:
This table will be available in early 2009.

Lily pad table

This is a prototype for a table we starting working on and then never finished. Needs to be painted but the photos here give an idea of the construction method and final result. We made a few errors in the tolerances so there was much sanding involved and it's a bit wobbly...although whether that is due to the tolerance problems or inherent to the design we are not sure.

any comments are appreciated. I'm not sure if we are going to finish this project or not.

the original problem we set ourselves was how to make a complex 3 dimensional table from flat members. The branching base supports three separate plexi tops.<br></br><img alt="20080419-imgp5072_showroom_image" src="http://assets0.ponoko.com/design_images/3924/2935/20080419-imgp5072_showroom_image.jpg" />

Clear Acrylic Clock

This is a pendulum clock made of clear acrylic and nested brass tubes. The design of the gear train, escapement mechanism, and housing is original. As such, I’m sure it’s not as refined as it could be. It’s missing things like a ratchet system. There’s a weight, but it’s not in the images. All that said, it does actually work (woot!!!) and is reasonably accurate.

Antionette necklace

The layered necklace has not fallen out of trend, but they have fallen out of favor for the warm summertime climates. Who would want to pile on all of those necklaces in this heat?
I created the "Antionette" pendant to freshen up the look of layered necklaces and make it fun and easier to wear this look in the summer. It can come in any color offered in the materials section and could be any width.
•created for the 10 day design challenge (summer jewelry)<br></br><img alt="Necklace_mockup_showroom_image" src="http://assets2.ponoko.com/design_images/shows/4160/1625/necklace_mockup_showroom_image.png" />
