Dendrite Brooch

Acrylic plastic is laser cut into delicate forms inspired by the aggregate growth of coral and dendrite crystals. The brooch is affixed by a sterling silver pinstem and clutch. The brooch has no predetermined orientation but in the photos we show our two favorite ways to wear it.
The pattern was generated using a diffusion limited aggregation algorithm. You can play with our algorithm here:
