Cecilia is a unique pendant that combines two different materials that play well together. In design, as in life, relationships are important. With that, a focus was given to connecting the materials in a pure way without the need of any outside influence. The acrylic pieces are cut just enough to be press fit into the MDF. The acrylic is reminiscent of brilliant gemstones while also providing a place to lace through a necklace. Once complete, Cecilia adds a sophisticated touch to compliment the most elegant necklines. A light stain is applied to the wooden piece to bring out the grain in the veneer. A natural hemp fiber is used as the necklace to compliment the natural aesthetic of the wooden piece.
