This item is a table/shelf construction consisting of two separate pieces. The pieces slide into each other to form a small table or shelf, and could be used as two stand-alone shelves, as well. There's lots of ways to configure these two pieces.
Slid together, the object is 52cm wide, 39cm high and 38.5cm deep. The Colour Rimu veneer has a 10mm thickness.<br></br><img alt="Table1_showroom_image" src="http://static1.ponoko.com/design_images/images/30/4d85fc5a-6ff6-3f2b-8aee-0a8725efc209/table1_showroom_image.jpg?1236056588" />

Foldable Deco Rack

This is a design for a stowable rack, my flat-pack interpretaion of a cool design by Sebastian Errazuriz <http://www.meetsebastian.com/english/>.

What I think is cool with this concept is that it's flexible, just arrange it in whatever layout or size that suits your needs.

Put them in anywhere you have the extra wall space!

This design has a shelf depth of 181mm (made from P1 sheet), but I'll expand this range to other sizes add design variations too.

P.S. I haven't actually made these yet, but they should be able to hold light to medium weight items. Photos are CG renderings :)<br></br><img alt="Compd_racks_copy_showroom_image" src="http://static2.ponoko.com/design_images/images/10853/4f2ca37f-92ad-3ad8-826b-236123926fae/compd_racks_copy_showroom_image.jpg?1236098414" />

"Hands" Corner-Shelf

The "Hands" Corner Shelf is what FUN looks like, if it were made of furniture.

The shelf is made from 5 interlocking pieces of eurolite plywood (or MDF). It mounts easily to any 90° corner with 4 drywall screws, and when it is assembled (without tools or glue) the mounting screws are hidden from view.

The item displayed was stained with a light maple color to enhance the wood grain. Eurolite can be stained any color or can be left it's natural color. (Shown in the second photo.)

Dimensions:
At it's widest point, the shelf is 12" across, 6" deep, and the hands are 7.8" from top to bottom.

The shelf piece has a small notch in the back to run a power cord for a clock or small lamp. For diversity, the shelf piece can be stained a different color on each side and can easily be flipped over within 30 seconds. Once the shelf is locked in place, it is very sturdy. <br></br><img alt="Top_img_showroom_image" src="http://static3.ponoko.com/design_images/images/7777/cecfde14-df2d-3671-bc3c-22b1f61b6cd0/top_img_showroom_image.png?1243111683" />

Ladder Box (kit)

The Ladder Box is a modular shelving system kit made from bamboo and acrylic. The shelves can be placed along a variety of mounting slots for different configurations. Designed for electronics (such as a cable modem, wireless router, media server), the shelves have cable runs and vertical dividers to keep the cables and electronics organized.

Fully assembled, the Ladder Box is 28" high, 16" wide, and 13" deep. The bamboo is 6.7mm-thick Amber. Any color acrylic that has a 5.6mm thickness option can be used. Please specify a color when ordering. For available colors, see http://j.mp/PonokoUSAcrylics

For now, the only inserts available are basic shelves and vertical dividers. However, the flexible mounting system means different inserts can be made, including drawers or even purpose built shelves for specific applications. (Think a caddy for a Mac Mini media server, an ethernet cable coiling panel, or a shelf with a secret compartment!) If you have a specific insert in mind, a custom design can be a made.

Assembly required: ordinary wood glue or white glue necessary for some components. (Electronics not included.)<br></br><img alt="Sam_6731_showroom_image" src="http://static2.ponoko.com/design_images/images/4907/343a93ef-ed85-337c-9e61-8bfd9a1f23c7/sam_6731_showroom_image.jpg?1297806709" />

Fleur Shelf

Fleur-de-lis Shelf

The words Fleur de Lis (or Fleur de Lys) translate into the English "flower of the lily”. It is a common decorative symbol with many meanings.

Traditionally this symbol has been associated with the French monarchy and when used in this context it signifies perfection, light and life. Legends differ on the origin of the fleur; some stories say that Clovis, the Merovingian king of the Franks was presented with a lily by an angel, to represent purification, on his conversion to Christianity. Other tales tell that he adopted the symbol when water lilies showed him how to safely cross a river and leading to a battle victory.

As a religious symbol the Fleur de Lis has been adopted as an emblem of the Virgin Mary, and some say the three petals represent the Holy Trinity.

Additionally, due to it’s resemblance to a spear, the Fleur has also been adopted by several military units to signify martial power and strength.

More recently, following Hurricane Katrina, the Fleur-de-lis has been widely used in New Orleans as a symbol of grassroots support for New Orleans' recovery and on July 9th. 2008, Louisiana’s governor signed a bill into law making the fleur-de-lis an official symbol of the state.

For our purposes the Fleur is used to adorn this decorative shelf.

At 38cm wide, 10cm high and 12cm deep, this is the perfect little shelf to hold perfume bottles or small items below a decorative mirror in a bathroom, or to display your treasured knick-knacks.

Cut from 5.7mm. Cherry Veneer MDF, this shelf requires a light sanding before assembly which can be completed with regular white carpenters glue. Because this unit is 3 dimensional the thickness of material is very important. If you are not cutting this with Ponoko, please make sure you are using 5.7mm stock.

Unit should also be sealed with a Danish oil stain or polyurethane before use.

Mini Spice Cabinet

You can make your own mini spice cabinet with sliding doors. The cabinet is designed to be cut from a 4mm material such as Eurolite Poplar. It measures H108mmW378mmD80mm. The depth and height are largely constrained by the P2 template, but the height can be increased, although that will require taller doors that won’t fit on a P1. Most of the joints in this design are interlocking, so little glue is required to hold everything together.

To assemble this cabinet you will require:
•	PVA or wood glue
•	Small model making clamps or bulldog (stationery) clamps for clamping small pieces
•	F-clamps or masking tape for holding together final model

Assembly instructions:
1.	Slot in + glue top door guides [2+3] into top [1] = [1+2+3]. The raster engraved grooves should be facing up toward the guides
2.	Glue bottom lining [7] to bottom [6] on the grooved side = [6+7]. Side and back tab edges should be perfectly aligned.
3.	Glue together the back [6+7] and top [1+2+3]. The back piece [6+7] should be facing in the same direction as the door guides [2+3]
4.	Slot + glue back top support [5] into back [4].
5.	Glue bottom lining front strip [8] to [6+7] on the grooved side. Align with front edge with side edges protruding evenly
6.	Glue together back [9] to bottom assembly [6+7+8]. The back piece [9] should be facing in the same direction as the raster engraved grooves and the lining and guide pieces [7+8]
7.	You now have the bottom and top parts assembled. Next is attaching these to the sides
8.	Slot in and glue top [1+2+3+4+5] and bottom [6+7+8+9] to one of the sides [10]. Works best when the side piece [10] is lying flat, and the other components are insterted into the slots from above
9.	Place the other side [10] flat on the working surface and insert the assembly into the slots. This is a tight fit, so you may need a rubber mallet or something heavyish on hand to help with the slotting.
10.	Either use the f-clamps to hold everything together while the glue sets, or tightly wrap masking tape around the box
11.	Allow at least 12 hours for the glue to dry. Sand off any messy glue globs, prime and paint the cabinet.
12.	Once the paint is completely dry, insert the sliding doors.

Additional notes:
The only pieces that have different front and back are the top [1] and the bottom [6] pieces.
Try assembling the parts first without gluing to make sure you’re comfortable with the assembly.
The tabs are designed for a tight fit, so perfect alignment is important.

Making cost:
This is for 4mm poplar and 3mm clear acrylic.

Cabinet materials = $8.00 , cabinet making = $18.73 ,
Doors material = $2.15, doors making = $287
