Boomerang Components

Sci fi prop of a futuristic boomerang device for a movie. This was an idea that had been knocking about for some time and when we discovered Ponoko we had to give this a go. Tony created all the boomerang components in Illustrator. Ponoko made them real (right down to the little pin holes) and after a couple of coats of paint were applied the boomerang was truly born.

This pattern is 7.85x8.1", and you can resize it to whatever size you want to cut, depending on material. This could be cut from thin acrylic or ply for a nice hanging decoration, or made large from hardboard as wall art.

Ray Gun, tried and tested

A homage to all those cool Sci-Fi movies, a Fluorescent Acrylic Ray Gun, with place for Electronics on the box, and a hole trough the Barrel, to place the Laser Pointer, LED, whatever. You can use a Rubber Band as the Trigger spring, and it will also hold the back lid in place!
