Martian Card Holders & Key Rings

A 2-piece Business Card Holder and matching Key Tag - the perfect freebie gifts for our loyal Martian clients.
We had these cut from 3mm Flouro Green Acrylic and they work perfectly.
The card shelf simply slots through the back rest to create a stable card holder. And a standard key chain is added to our Martian Guy to make a funky Key Ring.

Earring Aids

In Africa, certain tribes wear jewellery to keep evil spirits away from their body. The earrings I designed are a Western variant on this concept. The Aids virus is one of our evil spirits, and wearing these earrings intimately reminds you of its now a little less invisible presence. In this sense they are real 'earring aids'.

Each earring is shaped like a cell of the Aids-virus, which has a natural beauty of itself. Made out of black acrylic, these pieces will definitely get you noticed.

Snap Fit Rings

This file makes rings that you can wear strait off the laser cutter, no gluing or waiting, just snap fitting.

Use any variety of materials, woods or acrylics... just keep in mind to do a test cut to get just the right fit for each different material.

Use the templated ring chart and graphics or make your own shapes.

Ringlace - Ring to Necklace

Ringlace - From Ring to Necklace

A jewellery set that is created by 8mm thick concentric circles. Starting with a 16mm internal diameter ring, it radiates out creating a selection of bangles, necklaces, and earings. The outer path of the inner piece creates the inner path of the next. This eliminates material wastage and cutting time is reduced. Small circles are layered to create a inticate and effervescent motif.

-Interleaved clear, amber and blue tint 3mm acrylic

Brassrings

This design was inspired by the over protective boyfriend. These brass knuckles are fashionably fun for self defense against overly aggressive suitors.

Maria

This project is about the celebration of the materials and manufacturing method at hand.

Maria is a unique ring that combines two different materials that play well together. In design, as in life, relationships are important. With that, a focus was given to connecting the materials in a pure way without the need of any outside influence. The acrylic piece flexes enough to be press fit into the plywood then return to its cut shape to hold the wooden ornament in place. Once complete, the acrylic is reminiscent of brilliant gemstones peeking through the wooden centerpiece.

NOTE: If you would like a particular color of Acrylic, please let me know.
