iPhone 4 Otterbox Charging Dock

This docking stand is made for iPhone 4's in thick skins or housings such as the Otterbox. The design includes the option to insert the Apple charging cable so the phone can charge while in the dock.

Designed for 3mm materials, the photo shows clear acrylic, but any 3mm sheet material would work. The design fits onto two P1 sheets.

The locking wedges hold it all together so it can be disassembled and packed flat, or with a drop of glue on each wedge it can be locked solid.

Note: To keep the Apple gods happy, I have changed all Apple logos (as shown) to a Banana.

i-phone Usablilty Testing Sleds

These sleds are ideal for usability testing. Watch your clients using your apps on the i-phone, i-pad, and Android devices.
Get great feedback on how users actually use your apps. Use this information to refine your software and make people love using them.

Hear their screams of rage and anguish change to enjoyment and laughter as you improve the usability of your fantastic and much needed applications.

Of course, these work for all phone/tablet models.

Simply attach your phone to the base of the sled and a camera to the top. The design keeps them out of the way but allows you an unobstructed view of their actions. (If you don't have a dedicated camera, you can attach another phone as the camera). (User recommendation) - Use iGlasses app to easily adjust white balance, exposure and flip/mirror the image as you're recording.

The sleds arrive flat. Instructions are included on how to use a simple two slot toaster and 5 minutes of your time to bend them to suit your particular needs and devices.

Includes a mixture of sizes (choose below) for i-phones, i-pads, Android, and Windows8 devices of all kinds.
You think this is too many - give them away, or sell them to your friends.
I will contact you before manufacture to detail your requirements.

iPhone 4 Spectrometer

***This is still being designed and tested***

This design is a spectrophotometer on an iPhone case. There are three pieces that need to be printed as part of the design. You can download them here and print them out through Ponoko. It is relatively cheap and you aren't paying any expenses to me.

*****IMPORTANT*****
In order to have the complete spectrophotometer, you need to have these three pieces printed and you also need to buy a linear diffraction grating (1000 lines/mm). Once you add the designs to your "factory" on Ponoko, there will be 2 links to websites that sell the diffraction gratings under the resource section. You can find very cheap diffraction gratings on sites like ebay or amazon. Just search for linear diffraction gratings 1000 lines/mm and the gratings should be 2" X 2".

Here are some links to websites:

*****IMPORTANT*****

It is easy to put together the 3 printed pieces and the diffraction grating all slide together and the iPhone case slips on right on top of an iPhone.

The complete case is very lightweight and is easy to use. I highly recommend using the black plastic material to make the printed pieces. This is so extraneous light doesn't make its way into the tube. Don't use any opaque building material.

With this case and diffraction grating you will be able to point the end of the case at any object and you will be able to see the spectral lines for the light being emitted or reflected off of that object. You can point it at a fluorescent light, for example, and see the spectral lines for the light being emitted. You can take pictures of the spectrum with the camera on your iPhone and use them for whatever you want. You could use it as a colorful background picture.
