Each piece is created around a concise statement to serve as a personal, daily reminder. Included in the line is a stool ("rest"), a desk ("work") and a mirror ("reflect"). Their manufacturing process is highly efficient because they exist only as digital files until ordered, and then are manufactured and shipped locally. Once an order is in place, it is manufactured and shipped from a facility that is local to the customer. They are flat packed and assembled by the user using only a mallet. Every part is lasercut from flat materials. The dark, burnt edges, a natural result of the laser cutting process, are showcased as a graphical element that frames the form. The hollow cutout of the letterforms allows light to shine through and cast a shadow of the word on a nearby surface.

"Magic" Mirror - Fairest Krystal

This is part of my new fun collection of mirrors. I have a total of 10 different mirror designs currently - collect them all - and I have drawings for many more to come! I thought it would be fun to create a series of mirrors that would be (somewhat) functional to wear around the neck to do a last minute makeup check. The matching earrings have smaller mirrors on them which throw off just enough "flash" as you pass by. Magic mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all - I can guarantee that you'll never see any others fairer than these! This mirror has an octagonal frame and hangs from the base of the mirror handle. I have embellished the mirror with crystals in flower and round shapes (which are actually embellishments designed for finger nail art since these are the best size for the acrylic jewelry). When ordering, let me know: 1) what color scheme you would like - both acrylic color (black, white, blue, red or opal) and 2) the crystal color(s), as well as 3) the size - which is dictated by the size of available craft mirrors which are typically 1" for the larger mirror and 1/2" for the earrings. One caveat is that the ability to get clean-edged circular cuts on the small mirrors is very difficult - I have purchased and looked at many and I can't say that any are perfect, so when you order these, the concept of the piece should be more important to you than the perfect edge on the mirror. Due to the fact that there are many combinations available, it is best to custom order, which will take 2-3 weeks to reach you, but contact me to see what I have in stock and whether I can sell you what I have currently if you are in a hurry.
