The design features a ten layer pattern which transforms in three dimensions. It is at once highly geometric and organic. The morphing profile gives the open fan a shape reminiscent of a nautilus while the pattern inside radiates like a flower. To assemble it you will need something with a diameter of 3/32" to rivet together the fan. We used aluminum tube that you can find at most hardware stores.
