Each piece in the Wrought Collection has been aptly named after iron working techniques, giving character to each piece that was inspired by the beauty of wrought iron. The necklaces make a statement with their larger than expected pendants. Made from laser cut acrylic – pendants are approx 55 x 55mm on a 50mm chain. Available in translucent red or opaque black on gunmetal chain. Also opaque white on silver chain. Please specify colour when ordering. Hi everyone! I am happy to share the design of my fruit bowl called "Drakkar". The best material to make it is 1mm flexible plywood. As the wood is a living material it could react differently, depending on the variety and on the thickness. The best result I had was with 1mm birch plywood. If you make it in plywood, you will have to iron the wood with steam before bending it by hand. The final shape and curves will depend on the position during drying. Make your own jig/template. At the end you will all have a slightly different drakkar fruit bowl. If you want to make it easier, do it in 2mm grey carboard and you won't need to steam it. Don't hesitate to try different materials. Feel free to download the file and make your own Drakkar fruit bowl, it's FREE. (There are 2 fruit bowls in the EPS file)so if you order the laser cut by Ponoko you you will have 2 of them for the same price.
