Owl Embroidery Floss Organizer

This is a product designed for use with needlework projects such as crewel, embroidery, needlepoint and cross stitch. It is used to hold and separate each color of yarn or floss being used with a project.

Until I designed this little cutie the only shape I had ever seen for an embroidery floss organizer was a butterfly. So I decided to make something a little cuter. This item allows you to not only organize all of your yarn for a needlework project, but an attached rare earth magnet holds on to your needle when you aren't using it.

This item measures about 3 1/2 inches tall and 2 inches wide. It has 15 holes for yarn and thread, each measures about 3/8 inch across. See my showroom for another version with some larger holes.

CURRENTLY ONLY AVAILABLE IN WHITE OR BLUE

Double pointed Knitting Needle Labels - Small

My knitting needle case was a mess. It took forever for me to locate a full set of DPN's and even longer to find my needle sizer to figure out the size. So I designed special needle markers to hold my needles together, and label them with their size.

Each marker is a lightweight bamboo charm attached to a super-stretchy elastic. Wrap the elastic around your needles a few times, and you are all set! Please note that because of natural variations in the bamboo material, your set may vary slightly from the one pictured.

This new and improved version has BOTH US and METRIC numbering. This set is designed for smaller needles (US0 to US4) and the 7 markers includes the numbers

US0 / 2mm
US1 / 2.25mm
US1.5 / 2.5mm
US2 / 2.75mm
US2.5 / 3mm
US3 / 3.25mm
US4 / 3.5mm

Spinners WPI Gauge

This tool is for knitters and spinners, and is used to determine the WPI (wraps per inch) of a particular yarn. There are two ways to use this tool. The first uses the one inch notch at the top of the tool. Wrap the yarn around so it rests in the notch and then count the number of wraps. Alternatively, you can hold your yarn behind the windows in the center of the tool, matching it to the window that has the most similar width (see second picture). Each window is labeled with the WPI that width corresponds to, as well as the name of yarn weight.

Californians, 9.75% sales tax will be added to your total by Paypal.
