Wood bloom

This delicate bloom is cut out of thin wood, with a network of intricate engraved lines adding depth and detail.
It is fairly large, but remains visually light and elegant, and can be worn as a brooch ( with a pinback glued to the backside) or as a pendant (strung on a thin cord). We like it best worn as a very feminine pendant on bare skin, or as a brooch worn very close to the neck as if it grew out of your shirt collar.

Rosette

This is a classic rosette, because truly, who doesn't want to feel like the number 1? It's quite big, at about 16 cm high, and would look super slick in shiny black acrylic, with subtle engraved details to give it a little dimension. Custom text or icons could be engraved in the middle, but I think it's sexier left plain. Glue a pinback and pin it to your favorite jacket or bag.

Nouvaeu Leaf Bracelet & Necklace

This is a bracelet or necklace called Braided Leaf. I liked the idea of having something organic wrapped around your wrist. Like when you’re a child and you make necklaces out of daisies. I thought that a leaf shape would look subtle and elegant. The design is very modular as it allows for many different shapes and you can add more links to turn it from a bracelet to a necklace. You can also apply engraving effects to the top of each link. I thought some leaf veins would suit the shape.

Inspired by the classic Holga camera, this mini "Hola" necklace gives you the oh-so-cool look of an artsy photographer--without the bulk! It's even got the faux-leather texture and a tiny hole so you can peep through and take pictures with your mind.

The Hola is 70mm wide and 55mm high.

Finished piece hangs on a black satin ribbon.

Earring Aids

In Africa, certain tribes wear jewellery to keep evil spirits away from their body. The earrings I designed are a Western variant on this concept. The Aids virus is one of our evil spirits, and wearing these earrings intimately reminds you of its now a little less invisible presence. In this sense they are real 'earring aids'.

Each earring is shaped like a cell of the Aids-virus, which has a natural beauty of itself. Made out of black acrylic, these pieces will definitely get you noticed.

Keyboard Bracelet

This is a ~7.5" long bracelet with the design of a standard piano or keyboard. The black keys are a heavy raster. There are holes in each key to thread the bracelet together using twine, elastic, or whatever you like! Also you can shorten the bracelet if necessary by simply omitting some of the pieces.

EDIT: Just got the parts in, the heavy raster didn't work on the black keys (they just came out white like the rest) but I just gave them a light coat of black spray paint and voila!

Just FYI for anyone interested.

Sun Pendant

This design is for a simple pendant necklace to be cut from 0.16" technopoly beech wood. The only other part in the assembly is a 1/16" round leather cord to be attached through the top opening.

Arch Bangle

The concept for this bangle began with the idea of combining 2d shapes together to create the illusion of a compound curve. The surface features fine engraved lines to tie the piece together. The sections slot together and a small amount of glue will be added to ensure the joints are strong for the life of the bangle. The bangle was designed to minimise waste and number of cuts to increase efficiency. This was achieved by designing the cross sections so that then tessellate. The minimises the environmental impact and the production cost of the bangle.
