Clear Acrylic Clock

This is a pendulum clock made of clear acrylic and nested brass tubes. The design of the gear train, escapement mechanism, and housing is original. As such, I’m sure it’s not as refined as it could be. It’s missing things like a ratchet system. There’s a weight, but it’s not in the images. All that said, it does actually work (woot!!!) and is reasonably accurate.

The alarmsy clock is a nod to the classic alarm clocks of yore, with a modern lasercut spin. The clock is 7.5" wide and stands 10.5" tall. The main pieces are precision-cut from colour rimu timber. The clock face is eco-friendly wool felt. The product includes clock movement and hands. (AA-Battery not included) The product is assembled by hand and arrives with assembly instructions.

Monochron Clock Enclosure

Alternative enclosure for the wonderful Monochron clock kit from Adafruit Industries. The enclosure the kit comes with is a beautiful laser-cut and -etched black acyrlic, which is sadly highly prone to breakage if the clock is to be transported often, or sometimes makes unexpected trips off the dresser. Thus, this enclosure is made from somewhat less pretty but far more forgiving black delrin.
