Whiteboard bookcase

This was my first real go at a 3D product with Ponoko. Motivation came from wanting a bookcase that would fit inside that particular nook next to the kitchen. My wife chose the material and I just tried to make it all work :) Features differing sized shelves for things like large books, vinyl, DVDs, CDs, speakers, medium books, small books, etc.

this is a set of bookends with a container to store reading accessories and spurn the imagination. they pop-up from a single sheet of metal and are strong enough to hold up the stoutest of books.

Made from laser cut American Cherry veneer MDF shelves and flexible plywood panels. The shelving is finished in clear polyurethane, with stainless steel fixings. Curvaceous and lightweight, the Ponoko shelving unit notable for its beautiful detailing.

Tree Origin - Bookmark

This is a concept that I came up with when I wanted to design my own bookmark. It had to be functional, elegant, and practical. As seen in the item picture, this bookmark is designed to resemble a tree in an abstract way. In a sense, it reminds me of the origin of all books, which come from trees.

This is a replacement/upgrade platen for the Sola Technical digital camera book scanner platform. This version is cut from a single piece of acrylic and formed, instead of being glued from separate pieces like the one included in the V1 kit (the current V3 already includes this).

A lightweight and inexpensive basic book scanner that will get you started in digitizing books or other bound print media. This item comes flat-packed ready for you to assemble. No tools required. All hardware is designed to be hand tightened. You will need the following additional hardware: For assembly and allowing the slides to work 8 1/4"x20 1" long bolts 8 1/4"x20 wing nuts 16 1/4"x20 flat washers For camera mounting 2 1/4"x20 3/4" long bolt 2 1/4"x20 flat washers To hold pages flat 2 12"x12" glass / plexiglass / acrylic (note: 12x12 is a perfect fit size, but it doesn't need to be exact, I was able to find precut sheet 11"x14" at a local hardware store for $4 each)
