      <title>EKOFLEX Furniture Construction Game (scale 1/5) : Kit B</title>
      <link>http://www.ponoko.com/showroom/TheFrenchFactory/4448</link>
      <description>BECOME A FURNITURE DESIGNER OF THE 21 CENTURY !

The first idea was to develop a modular furniture/shelter construction concept using a small number of CNC flat pack components :

1 - A product easily machinable based on repetition and recycling of a standard basic module (design iterations pre-conceived).
2 - Requirement for maximum flexibility and adaptation of the product according to various scenarios (4 chairs can be recycled for a table or recycled for 2 chairs or bench, recycled for an interior wall ....).
3 - Product cost relatively low for cnc manufacturing with standard materials (wood panels).
4 - Scale 1/1 (real world models only!) The possibility of the dealer/manufacturer to easily adapt the models to customer demand. One screw or four screws hold down/clamp the two boards.

YOU NEED KIT A+B TO START TO CREATE. KIT C WILL COME NEXT WEEK FOR MORE POSSIBILITIES.

To sell it to your customers as a CNC owner , contact me. Commercial contract necessary for Ekoflex furniture range (scale 1/1) : http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/

To learn more about the concept :
- Download 3D models files at Sketchup Warehouse, search &quot;ekoflex&quot;.

<title>Solid Cardboard Curvy Chair, Seat or Bench</title>
      <link>http://www.ponoko.com/showroom/TheSustainabilityWorkshop/8218</link>
<description>30 sheets of 15&quot;x31&quot; P3 6.7mm Cardboard make this plan. Extrude a curvy bench along 6 individual 3/4&quot; wood dowels that you supply. Glue each cardboard piece together and you will be amazed by how durable this block can be. Sand it with a finish sander with course grit if you want...

I build these by hand as prototypes and live with them. You won't believe how well they last. Even if your cat scratches it, you can &quot;sand&quot; it. I like to use a random orbit sander and a dust mask, then vacuum.

Worried about how you can assemble this? No worries. Message me and I'll tell you more.

It's expensive, but trust me, when I make stuff like this in my shop people love the results.
