Jazzmonster - Acrylic

This template is identical to the other Jazzmonster template available, except that it is in 0.236" thick clear acrylic. The design has been reversed to place the centerlines on the bottom of the template instead of the top.<br></br><img alt="Jazzmonsternewphoto_showroom_image" src="http://static2.ponoko.com/design_images/images/7336/28326157-4ace-3d8d-ada9-dd5465ed766b/jazzmonsternewphoto_showroom_image.jpg?1260947084" />

Telemonster With S-Heel

Please read this description before making your purchase.

This is a very popular new design that lots of companies are starting to copy. I'll be no different and add it here, for you to make one of your own!

This template set includes the main body, which is exactly what you would expect for the style, but I've added the cutout for a Jazzmaster-style vibrato, 'cuz you know, every guitar should have one of those! It includes the pickguard template, two small templates for the string-thru-body ferrules (one for 5/16" flanged ferrules, the other for 3/8" flush-fit ferrules), and the neck pocket template which has four holes from the standard bridge for reference, and two larger holes to place any bridge with a 2-7/8" post spacing (Jazzmaster bridge, Mustang bridge, some Tune-O-Matics, etc.). I also added a Jazzmaster pickup rout to the neck pocket template, just because I thought some people might like that.

• Neck pocket template is 1/64" oversize to account for paint thickness.

• This template is made for any guitar neck with a 25.5" scale Fender Stratocaster-style neck heel (radiused heel).<br></br><img alt="Telemonsters01_showroom_image" src="http://static2.ponoko.com/design_images/images/7336/5c4c42f2-4822-31e5-856a-2accf3cf5a6a/telemonsters01_showroom_image.jpg?1269331627" />

"Supermini" Foldable Ukulele, Finished Instrument

PLEASE ALLOW 6 WEEKS FOR CONSTRUCTION AND DELIVERY.

This ukulele is the smallest foldable ukelele that I make, once folded, it measures about 9 inches long and can fit in a handbag.

Please note that the color of the bamboo is the darker amber shade, not blond (prototype shown).

Here is a video demonstrating the sound and usage of the fold-u-leles: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gaFRbOb6lw<br></br><img alt="Box_finished_showroom_image" src="http://static3.ponoko.com/design_images/images/50373/4bf3eb36-eb0c-1d6a-59f2-e3d3e833ba45/box_finished_showroom_image.jpg?1320167914" />

T-Style

The original solid body electric guitar. A classic that’s been around for over 60 years.

This template set includes the main body template, a neck pocket template, a neck template with matching vintage headstock, and two different pickguard templates. The neck pocket template has additional routs for a P90 neck pickup as well as a “Nashville” style middle Strat pickup. The two different pickguard templates included are set up for either the standard Tele neck pickup or a P90 pickup. The body template also has the rout for a Jazzmaster tremolo, because, well, any guitar is better with a Jazzmaster trem on it!

The body and neck pocket templates include registration holes along the center line. If you use screws to hold the master templates to the wood you’re routing, the holes will help keep everything lined up between templates. They are located so that the holes will be hidden under the pickguard, bridge, and neck.

•Note: If using a Jazzmaster trem, I recommend a Bigsby conversion kit for the bridge, or a roller bridge like the one available from GFS here:

S-Style Hardtail

The most recognizable guitar design in the world, it has been used by millions of guitarists for over half a century.

This set of templates includes a body template, neck pocket template, neck template with vintage 60’s headstock, and pickguard template. It is set up as a hardtail configuration, to be used with a vintage style string through body or top mount bridge. The neck pocket template has a universal rout to fit either a P90, humbucker, or similarly sized pickup in the bridge position.

The body and neck pocket templates include registration holes along the center line. If you use screws to hold the master templates to the wood you’re routing, the holes will help keep everything lined up between templates. They are located so that the holes will be hidden under the pickguard.

•Note: Feel free to message me if you want a variation of this template set with different pickups and a matching pickguard. Strats are a dime a dozen, but endlessly customizable so you can make them your own.<br></br><img alt="S-style01_showroom_image" src="http://static1.ponoko.com/design_images/images/7336/62267b2e-91d5-557a-9d7b-c116776c8f51/s-style01_showroom_image.jpg?1336448430" />

P-Style Bass

The original electric bass, it was arguably Leo Fender's greatest accomplishment into the world of music.

This template set includes a main body template, neck pocket template, and pickguard template. The body template has an additional rout for a J-Bass pickup between the bridge and regular P-Bass pickup. If making a PJ-Bass, I would put the output jack on the side of the body and set up the wiring like a regular J-Bass, with independent volume knobs and a shared tone knob to replace the pickguard mounted output jack.

The body and neck pocket templates include registration holes along the center line. If you use screws to hold the master templates to the wood you’re routing, the holes will help keep everything lined up between templates. They are located so that the holes will be hidden under the pickguard.

•Note: The template has holes located for a standard Fender bridge, or one like this from Gotoh:
http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Bridges,_tailpieces/Bass_bridges/Gotoh_Standard_Bass_Bridge.html?actn=100101&xst=3&xsr=412

You can obviously use any bridge you'd like, but the mounting holes might not line up with what is on the template.<br></br><img alt="P-bass01_showroom_image" src="http://static0.ponoko.com/design_images/images/7336/bc8963ed-f273-40b8-4b12-109832194daa/p-bass01_showroom_image.jpg?1336490703" />

J-Style Bass

Another classic bass design, this "Jazzy" offset has been widely used for over 50 years.

This template set includes a main body template, neck pocket template, and pickguard template. I also include an alternate part of a pickguard template for a P-Bass pickup in the neck position, along with the corresponding rout built into the neck pocket template. With these you can build either a P-Bass or PJ-Bass with a Jazz Bass body style.

You can obviously use any bridge you'd like, but the mounting holes might not line up with what is on the template.<br></br><img alt="J-bass01_showroom_image" src="http://static0.ponoko.com/design_images/images/7336/21fa7f46-9f7f-910f-5bb0-02a672cd67cb/j-bass01_showroom_image.jpg?1336492331" />

Fret Slotting Templates

A set of laser cut guitar (or other stringed instrument) fret slotting templates. They are made to work with StewMac's fret slotting miter box, for easy and accurate fret slotting.

http://www.stewmac.com/shopby/product/2230

This set includes five separate templates, with a different scale length on each side. That's a total of ten different scale lengths.

24" Jaguar/Mustang Scale
26.94" Jaguar/Mustang Baritone Conversion Scale

25.5" Telecaster/Stratocaster/Jazzmaster Scale
28.625" Telecaster/Stratocaster/Jazzmaster Baritone Conversion Scale

22.5" 3/4 Duo-Sonic/Mustang/Musicmaster Scale
25" PRS/National/Dobro Scale

24.562" Gibson Scale
24.625" Gibson Scale

30" Mustang Bass/Bass VI/Musicmaster Bass/Hofner Bass Scale
34" Precision Bass/Jazz Bass Scale

The Fender scales have the extra slot for the nut included, and all of the templates have 26 fret notches. They all feature a centered hole near one end so they can be hung up and stored safely when not in use.

The acrylic material makes them very durable, and makes it so the double sided tape used to hold the template to the fretboard doesn't mess up the surface of the template over time. Instead it cleanly removes when you're done cutting the slots.

●Note: If you only need a single template or two, use the "contact designer" button on the right and send me the scales you need and I can quote you a cheaper price for a smaller set. I can also set up templates for custom scale lengths, if what I have available isn't exactly what you need.<br></br><img alt="Fret_slotting_templates01_showroom_image" src="http://static0.ponoko.com/design_images/images/7336/d43d211c-8eaa-bb72-3af5-672ce18ab734/fret_slotting_templates01_showroom_image.jpg?1337783426" />

Polariscaster

Modeled after a classic offset semihollow design from the 70s, it was only available for a short period of time and has never been reissued. So that means if you want one, you either have to pay a steep price for a vintage example, or build your own!

This template set gives you a ton of options for pickup, bridge, and headstock selection. The main template is set up for Wide Range Humbuckers, and has the holes to accommodate either a Jazzmaster/Jaguar or Mustang bridge, or a hardtail Strat bridge with string through holes. To go with a rocking style bridge there is also a rout for a floating tremolo.

The template used for chambering the body includes the neck pocket hole, as well as the option for Jazzmaster pickups and a Tune-O-Matic style bridge. There are inserts on the back so you can have either a large chambered area behind the bridge, or a solid block of wood running throughout the body which works with the optional tremolo rout. I also include the routs for a rear access cover, to give you the convenience to access the electronics easily if you want.

Also included is another neck pocket template with routs for standard sized humbuckers, a Tune-O-Matic bridge, and matching stop tailpiece.

Besides all of the templates for routing out the chambered body, you also get a 25.5" scale neck template with two different headstock designs. There's the classy "swooshed edge" design originally used on this model, as well as a large 70s headstock design for those who like something a little different. The "swooshed edge" design comes with an extra routing template that you can mount on the headstock to use a bowl or round nose router bit with a bearing to rout the radiused edge.

Along with all of these templates you get a set of Wide Range Humbucker pickup ring templates, a back access plate template, and a pickguard template made to work with the Wide Range humbuckers. The pickguard should mount with a standard Les Paul pickguard mounting bracket and screws.

I also have a set of matching black plastic pickup rings, pickguard, and back plate available in the showroom, should you choose to go that route.

•Note: Because this set of templates uses two full sheets of MDF, it costs a lot more to make it than my other sets. Therefore it is priced accordingly, but I still think it is a great value and I hope to see what everyone makes with these templates. :)
