DIY Projects: Jigs And Router Templates: Houdini Frame And Centrecase

This is a FREE design template to partner the 'Dinghy Building: Houdini' web page: http://chrismolloy.com/www/p130

This design contains router templates for the centrecase and the frame member used in frame #3 and #5. Note that the centrecase template combines the two ends into a single template (i.e. part of the template is used to shape each end of the centrecase).

The template is designed to be applied to a P3 material sheet. I can recommend the double-sided whiteboard as a suitable material.

Arduino UNO Mounting Frame

Arduino UNO Mounting Frame (.stl file for 3D Printing):
This is a mounting frame for an Arduino UNO board. Simply attach the frame to your next project using 4-40 flat head screws or with glue. The UNO mounts to the frame via threaded inserts and 4-40 mounting screws (see resources below for links).

The frame measures 2.2 x 2.35 inches and provides a convenient wire routing clearance of 0.22 inches under the Arduino UNO.

Recommend 3D printing the frame in 'Durable Plastic'. This will provide a rigid, secure mounting.

Resources:
a) 4-40 x 3/16 SS Rnd Head Machine Screws (Mcmaster-Carr Part # 91772A105 (pack of 100 ~$3.50) http://www.mcmaster.com/#phillips-machine-screws/=9x4qy1

Replica 1934 Chrysler Airflow showroom frame model

The all new 1934 Airflow Chrysler and DeSoto models featured dozens of revolutionary new features not seen before in a production automobile.

To demonstrate the space frame chassis design, Chrysler made available to dealers a steel wireframe model of the car's structure. Measuring about 17" long, this frame model cost dealers $2.50 each at the height of the Great Depression. Not many were sold and only a handful are known to survive today.

This plastic replica was made by having an original Chrysler metal frame model 3D laser scanned. The resulting computer file is then printed for you full size in a white plastic material. To finish your display model you will have to spray paint it yourself with a “rattle can” in silver or dull aluminum metallic color.

In the photos shown, the white frame on black background is the modern plastic replica. The silver frame and detail on white background are of the original 1934 model. Also shown is the four page 1934 factory brochure showing the promotional products available to dealers to help sell the new cars.

For more information on Chrysler and DeSoto Airflow cars, please visit the website of the Airflow Club of America at: http://www.airflowclub.com/<br></br><img alt="3-4-view_showroom_image" src="http://static3.ponoko.com/design_images/images/33044/0e12722a-5c8c-3cda-aa56-2b1d84ba7a7e/3-4-view_showroom_image.jpg?1291753147" />

Melting cardboard Picture Frame set of 3, portrait

Corrugated cardboard melting picture frames!

These are sold as a pack of 3, containing one large frame which can hold either 5x7 or even 8x10 size photos, and two smaller frames which hold the more common 4x6 photo size.

Using corrugated cardboard, clear acrylic and white cardboard, these are ready to hang, all they need is your photos or artwork!

The light weight of the frames means they can be hung with double sided tape, or a piece of string threaded through the holes in the back panel.<br></br><img alt="Photo1_showroom_image" src="http://static0.ponoko.com/design_images/images/55272/690d86a3-31f2-7671-f120-2babe19ab984/photo1_showroom_image.jpg?1326265575" />
