This item consists of a pair of matching 'petal' pieces used to fabricate a headboard for a single bed. The headboard is a self-assembly project and will require additional parts and fabrication, as per the instructions at http://chrismolloy.com/www/p118 This item is made from 9mm [0.35"] double-sided whiteboard (MDF coated on both sides with melamine plastic). Exactile is the result of a collaboration between BDi a research and IP development partnership of which i am half, and TecMinho from the university of Minho in Portugal. Designed as an improvement on and replacement for the hideous little tile spacers currently available, Exactile is a return to the more traditional tool concept but instead of wedges, is a single, rigid and accurate placement guide for floor tile. A more elaborate version has been developed for the tile industry incorporating a bubble level, and a series of blades that can be arranged in different ways to cover all kinds of tile laying patterns, including tozzetto tiles. This basic set allows the DIY tiler to lay tile more accurately while avoiding the need for spacers. There is a problem with spacers in that they are frequently left in place, grouted over, and cause tiles to lift. By removing the spacer from the equation, and increasing laying accuracy, there is a double benefit for the user. A manual describing the Exactile in greater detail is in edit at present and will appear on Lulu shortly for free download, or purchase in a nice shiny cover. I would frequently snap photos of class assignments printed on copy paper so I wouldn't have to worry about losing them. The documents normally came out pretty clear, but it was tough to keep still while taking the pictures. I set out to make something that would ensure clean, consistent pictures of documents taken with the iPhone. Actual dimensions of this product when assembled: 15.5in long x 9.5in wide x 15in tall Additional options include engraving your logo or name on the scanner arms or "bed." In 1902 Charles Rennie Mackintosh was commissioned to design Hill House, in Helensburgh, Scotland. Squares, rectangles and lines defined the motif for the house and its furnishings. Amongst the most recognised of pieces designed for the house is Mackintosh's hall clock, replicated here. This item consists of a clock face cut from the 3mm [1/8"] -thick acrylic plastic of your choice and bonded to a white foam-board backing. This item consists of a clock face in the form of a stylised nautilus shell. The number of 'cells' corresponds to the numbers one to twelve. You will need to source and install your own clock mechanism. This item is comprised of two pieces made from 3mm [1/8"] -thick acrylic plastic, bonded together. The 'front' piece is orange in the accompanying images, and the 'rear' piece is red. Both pieces can be supplied in any combination of colours available from Ponoko, at no extra cost. I can particularly recommend using a transparent colour on top of an opaque colour. The default size for this item is 300mm [11.8"] high, but other size options are available.
