Fascinating processes happening inside the cells, such as cell division, made us realize how really beautiful the whole structure is. As we all consist of millions of living cells, these processes might well determine the way we are, the way we think, feel, and live. Isn't it amazing how simple small parts form a complex big whole, with functions far more perfect than those of the parts?.. With the Organic Cell Series we wanted to move closer to the Source. In developing Organic Cell designs, oftentimes an actual life-size model is being hand-sculpted/carved or hand-drawn from modeling media, such as polymer clay. Based on this model, a vector graphic design is being developed on the computer. After that, design is being cut from the chosen material using a laser; the laser follows the paths set in the computer model. Finally, the laser cut design is being hand-finished and sent to you.
