When I got my first iPhone, I loved having everything important in one place. I was able to get rid of unnecessary devices, and had to carry less of my work around with me. I would frequently snap photos of class assignments printed on copy paper so I wouldn't have to worry about losing them. The documents normally came out pretty clear, but sometimes it was tough to keep still while taking the pictures. I set out to make something that would ensure clean, consistent pictures of documents taken with the iPhone. Since the original release of the ScanDock, I've received confirmation from many people about success using the ScanDock with other camera phones, or point and shoot cameras.
