All that is needed for assembly is some carpenters glue and a few hours to allow everything to dry together. Please note that unlike plastic, wood will swell when exposed to damp environments. You will need to purchase a wooden dowels at your local lumber yard with a diameter of 3/16 inches or 5 mm. You will also need to apply a bead of caulking along the seams to ensure water doesn't enter when it rains if this is for outdoor use. You should also apply water-proofing paint.
