It's tough to beat the Terawatt Industries Universal Y-Axis Plate made from T-6061 Aluminum for strength, durability, and lightweight action on a RepRap. But acrylic comes close! This version lets you choose your color and thickness. The Universal Y-Axis Plate is especially designed for RepRaps to maximize z-axis travel and minimize weight. The laser-cut version has been further customized for laser-cutting. No sharp corners here! Any pictures of the original aluminum y-axis plate, or the machine(s) it's attached to, are for demonstration purposes only. We don't have any in stock for photos yet. Currently they're made-to-order by Ponoko in the USA. Features include rounded edges, dual mounting holes for 200mm or 300mm heatbed, screw holes for 100mm or 200mm bushing mount spacing, and more. This version lets you choose your color and comes with a second (lower) plate. The lower plate can be used for mounting bearings. We included this for anybody who needs a replacement and doesn't want to mess with their z-axis. Otherwise, we recommend just using the universal plate and getting the extra travel. The laser-cut version has been further customized for laser-cutting. No sharp corners here! Arduino Uno Acrylic Enclosure

This acrylic enclosure holds an Arduino Uno. We haven't tried it with other Arduino models but the design should be generic enough to work with different Uno-type varieties. Please check with us for specifications first before trying to use it with other models. The front has ports for the USB and power connectors. The top has ports for all the Arduino digital I/O pins, and a separate port for the ICSP header. There's also a port to access the reset button. The lid is press-fit. The tolerance on the lid is tight enough to hold it securely. No hardware is needed to use this enclosure. Built with special cement, the small design and 3mm acrylic results in a strong enclosure.

Features the Solid State Depot logo and cryptic latitude/longitude for the hackerspace and are made from bamboo so they’re ultralight. Size is 50.8mm (2″) square. This laminated bamboo is surprisingly strong but still breakable, so this is more for presentation than for everyday use. These aren't exactly cheap to cut since the entire face is laser-engraved and that takes time. They sell as donations to Solid State Depot for $10 and are available at the hackerspace in the products case.

Arduino Pro Micro 5v/16Mhz (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/11098) with an ultralight and protective enclosure. The Pro Micro is shipped from Sparkfun and the enclosure shipped from us. This case is tiny. It hugs the board within 1mm on each side. There's a port for the USB micro and ports for male or female headers on the Arduino. There's really no need to take the Arduino out of this case unless you want to place special jumpers. The case is easily assembled with 2-56 bolts provided in kit. Optionally you can place a dab of glue on the top/bottom corners if you'll open the case often. Pictures coming soon.
