I've always loved seahorses and since summer to me = beach, i thought I would play around with some fanciful beach creatures. I've chosen the tinted blue acrylic for the material as it has this great transparent sea effect. rastering on the tinted acrylic creates ass a great dimeson and really nice effect of movement and the waves. plus now you have see though parts of the pendat and some non see through. this is a pendant, designed to be worn a lot. I've been lucky enough to have this selected as a finalist for a ponoko challenge. Octokitty wants and needs some love, so why not take her home with you. she's not a kitten not quite an octopuss, but she is an octokitty She is 3 inches tall made and designed by me here in New Zealand using wood sourced from a sustainable plantation. I designed Octokitty and then had him made using a laser cutter. Because i do multiple octokittys in a batch, please be aware that the grain effect is different on each brooch, so you may not get one with the exact grain look as octokitty in the images. This also means that no two are exactly the same, each octokitty has her own unique and different style

One of 3 cameo style pendant inspired by nature. this one is based on those flowers you blow on and make a wish, whose name i forget, and i added a dragon fly, just becuase i think it makes the pendant even more lovely :D the diameter is 2inches and the pendant comes with a silver or copper chain, adjusted to the length of your choice. Because i do multiple designs in a batch, please be aware that the grain effect is different on each creation, so you may not get one with the exact grain look as the image. a delightful pendant with a triple inspiration, the sea and seahorses. although in a very abstract kind of way :D I'm also fascinated by Maori art and design here in NZ and have taken inspiration to create this pendant that as a loose theme base on the swirls of the sea and a seahorse. I designed the pendant and then had it made using a laser cutter. On simple file gets you a whole lot of options. you can choose from - a hollow heart, in black or arctic ice - a hollow + full heart, in black or arctic ice or a combination - a full heart with a key attached, in beech, black or arctic ice - a full heart, in beech, black or arctic ice When the full heart fits exactly inside the hollow hearts, which is kind of cute the colour combinations are all up to you. I've mixed black and arctic ice , becuase i love the simplicity of it all, but like everything i design using ponoko, it can work in any material 3mm thick. these can be shipped with 24 hours of your order, just in time for valentines on Feb 14th. and every pendant comes with silver chain to the length of your choice
