Unfortunately I no longer have all the part files to this so I can't post a working model where the wheels rotate and everything, but this is still pretty sweet. Essentially it's a ridonkulous dune buggy. Make of it what you will.

Full Cannon

This fully adjustable rubber band powered ping pong cannon is sure to provide hours of entertainment. My classmates and I would launch ping pong balls from the third story balcony into a trashcan several yards below. It's surprisingly accurate and a whole lot of fun. The given tolerance works out well and provides a smooth axes of rotation. The only things you really need yourself are rubber bands, ping-pong balls, and something to latch onto the rubber band. I just bend a small piece of weld bar. It seems to work rather nicely. Right now I've retired my cannon and am currently using it as a stylish pen holder at work.

This is the same as the first gear cube, it's just a smaller scale. This one has about a 2" by 2" by 2" footprint, whereas the first on had about a 5" by 5" by 5" footprint.

In theory, this crazy octa-gear cube will actually rotate all eight gears at once. I'm not sure if the .025 inch tolerance is enough to keep the parts from sticking together, but I'll be printing my on model shortly to find out. Otherwise, this is a reflection of total balance. Eight parts moving together in eight different directions. Would be a nice part to show off in an engineering class.
