Tulip flatpack vase

There are only two different lasercut pieces in this design: Petal x 8 and Ring x 2. The petals are slotted into the rings and are held apart by a test tube. The 150mm x 25mm glass test tube makes the vase hold rigid, so there is no need for glue.

Because there are only two different laser cut components in this design, it's very easy to adjust the dimensions of the slots for different material thicknesses.

Plywood - Eurolite (Italian Poplar) 4.0 mm
P2 - 384.0 mm long x 384.0 mm wide

Nesting Animal Puzzle

All kinds of animals snuggly fitting together without any carnivorous carnage. The puzzle is designed for a P1 bamboo, but it's very scalable, so you can make it on a P2. The grain of the bamboo means that the assembly isn't too difficult. The puzzle file doesn't include a base, so you may want to cut one to glue the border on and hold all the pieces together. Alternatively, you can scrap the border altogether and cut out the animals only.<br></br><img alt="_dsc1669_showroom_image" src="http://static1.ponoko.com/design_images/images/1096/d4398716-0105-9707-eb07-ca2f8cb01f7b/_dsc1669_showroom_image.jpg?1331247464" />

This leather necklace is designed to be laser cut from 1mm - 1.5mm leather. It's made from four parts: front detail, backing pieces and two straps. You need the following to join the pieces:

~ Glue to affix the front detail to the backing piece. PVA will work well, but the adhesive has to be applied very carefully to avoid spills. Once dry, you won't be able to remove excess glue without marking the leather

~ Thread or nylon to attach straps.

~ Dome to fasten the necklace

NOTE: It's possible to fit three necklaces onto a P2.

Modular Winerack

The modular winerack is designed for 6mm whiteboard, but can be tweaked for other material thicknesses. It is easy to assemble with no glue required to hold it together.

The winerack comes with two types of connectors: narrow single slot for either top or bottom and wide double slot for connecting two modules together into a bigger winerack. Each module fits on 1 x P3, and if you're making more than one module for stacking, you should delete the connectors off the second files, as they will be surplus. If you only want the one module, you should delete the surplus double slot connectors.<br></br><img alt="Dsc_1618_showroom_image" src="http://static1.ponoko.com/design_images/images/1096/19074554-b200-cf84-4f8a-42a6949d972c/dsc_1618_showroom_image.jpg?1323749578" />

Vary Form Garment Ruler

This is a flexible version of the standard vary form garment ruler design. It can be easily customised to create a ruler for specific proportions that are not catered to by generic pattern drafting equipment. The engraving can be filled in to make the markings more visible: dark for working with predomintantly light-coloured fabrics or light for the dark coloured fabrics. Custom rulers are great in a shared workroom: engrave your name into the plastic and never lose your ruler again!

Two designs can fit on a P3.<br></br><img alt="390_px_showroom_image" src="http://static1.ponoko.com/design_images/images/1096/441fa4f9-dbe4-33f6-5d0c-7787d32e17aa/390_px_showroom_image.jpg?1317849861" />

Mini Spice Cabinet

You can make your own mini spice cabinet with sliding doors. The cabinet is designed to be cut from a 4mm material such as Eurolite Poplar. It measures H108mmW378mmD80mm. The depth and height are largely constrained by the P2 template, but the height can be increased, although that will require taller doors that won’t fit on a P1. Most of the joints in this design are interlocking, so little glue is required to hold everything together.

To assemble this cabinet you will require:
•	PVA or wood glue
•	Small model making clamps or bulldog (stationery) clamps for clamping small pieces
•	F-clamps or masking tape for holding together final model

Assembly instructions:
1.	Slot in + glue top door guides [2+3] into top [1] = [1+2+3]. The raster engraved grooves should be facing up toward the guides
2.	Glue bottom lining [7] to bottom [6] on the grooved side = [6+7]. Side and back tab edges should be perfectly aligned.
3.	Glue together the back [6+7] and top [1+2+3]. The back piece [6+7] should be facing in the same direction as the door guides [2+3]
4.	Slot + glue back top support [5] into back [4].
5.	Glue bottom lining front strip [8] to [6+7] on the grooved side. Align with front edge with side edges protruding evenly
6.	Glue together back [9] to bottom assembly [6+7+8]. The back piece [9] should be facing in the same direction as the raster engraved grooves and the lining and guide pieces [7+8]
7.	You now have the bottom and top parts assembled. Next is attaching these to the sides
8.	Slot in and glue top [1+2+3+4+5] and bottom [6+7+8+9] to one of the sides [10]. Works best when the side piece [10] is lying flat, and the other components are insterted into the slots from above
9.	Place the other side [10] flat on the working surface and insert the assembly into the slots. This is a tight fit, so you may need a rubber mallet or something heavyish on hand to help with the slotting.
10.	Either use the f-clamps to hold everything together while the glue sets, or tightly wrap masking tape around the box
11.	Allow at least 12 hours for the glue to dry. Sand off any messy glue globs, prime and paint the cabinet.
12.	Once the paint is completely dry, insert the sliding doors.

Additional notes:
The only pieces that have different front and back are the top [1] and the bottom [6] pieces.
Try assembling the parts first without gluing to make sure you’re comfortable with the assembly.
The tabs are designed for a tight fit, so perfect alignment is important.

Making cost:
This is for 4mm poplar and 3mm clear acrylic.

Felt Shoulder Bag

This file is the cutting pattern for this felt bag, which is designed for an A4 fit. The bag is designed to be hand stitched together with ease, as the stitching holes are lasercut to ensure perfect, evenly spaced stitching.

The design is for 3mm felt. The photos show the engraved version of the bag, but the engraving design has been removed from the design file, so you can add you own pattern.

The design takes 10min 19sec to cut without any engraving (even faster if you’re cutting a solid panel rather than three strips), and the designs can be fitted onto a P3+P2. Of course, you can use 3x P3’s of different colour felt to make two bags with contrasting panels.

To complete the bag you need:
•	40mm wide belt buckle for the strap
•	2 snap domes
•	Thick industrial thread (double layer)

Assembly notes:
1.	Stitch the three panels together creating the main part of the bag. Length of the thread should be about six time more than the seam length, so there will be several stop/starts for each seam. Don’t make the thread too long or it will tangle.
2.	Hammer on domes, making sure they face the right way
3.	Sew in buckle for the strap and stitch the straps together
4.	Attach straps to side panels
5.	Attach the side panels to the main part
<br></br><img alt="Ponoko_bag1_showroom_image" src="http://static3.ponoko.com/design_images/images/1096/97011db9-7ee1-ecb9-1cc4-e0973bd5d81b/ponoko_bag1_showroom_image.jpg?1303957540" />

Leather Camera Case

This file is the cutting pattern for this leather Camera Case, which is designed to fit a point and shoot camera that's 97mmW x 62mmH x 23mmD. The case is designed to be hand stitched together with ease, as the stitching holes are lasercut to ensure perfect, evenly spaced stitching.

The design is for 2.5mm Russet leather, although thinner leather can be used. The photos show the engraved version of the camera case, but the engraving design has been removed from the design file, so you can add you own pattern. The file does not include the strap.

The design takes 1min 19sec to cut without any engraving (cheap!), and three designs can be fitted onto a P2. If you are adjusting the design for a slightly smaller camera, it should be possible to fit four designs onto a P2.

To complete the case you need:
•	10mm rivet if you’re making a strap and using 2.5mm leather
•	Snap dome (you will need a washer to pack the shank if you’re using thin leather
•	Thick industrial thread (double layer)

Assembly notes:
It’s easiest to start the stitching at the opening, sew down to the bottom corner and reverse back to the opening. This will make it easier to tie the end knot. Length of the thread should be about six time more than the seam length.

Rubik the Retarded Raven kinetic pendant

Rubik The Retarded Raven was conceived during a drunken haze, and is an unfortunate victim of the foetal alcohol syndrome. He somehow mastered the art of flying, or rather flapping his wings, but has to be kept on a chain to shelter him from harm. He has a strange fascination with banjos and doesn't know eyes from strawberries, so watch out!

Rubik pendants are made from acrylic and are available in various combinations of red, white, black as shown in the photos.

Pendant dimensions when worn: approx W85mm x H60mm. Chain length: approx 700mm.

Please specify the item number of your Rubik at the point of purchase.

Chromatophobia (krō′mad•ə′fō•bē•ə): an abnormal aversion to colours.

Chromatophobic is: not-so-colourful jewellery and accessories. All Chromatophobic products are created from scrap material and packaged in treehuggy reused/reusable stuff. Grimlies and other jewellery characters may look slightly homicidal, but they are trying to be kind to the planet!
