Ra·di·ate verb: To emit in the form of rays or waves "Radiate" is part of a series of pieces that explore the concept of movement through 2D geometry. Designed by hand, then laser-etched onto birch veneer, this piece is comprised of 4 separate pieces, each one painstakingly inked by hand. The conjoined, high quality, furniture grade birch veneer plywood frame adds to the substance and presence of the piece. Twelve coats of finish both protect and enhance the natural beauty of the wood and ink. About this piece: "Radiate" By Otto Gunther • Laser engraving and inked by hand using acrylic artists' ink • Birch veneer on top of high quality, furniture grade birch veneer plywood frame. • 12 coats of finish Dimension Information: • Each of the four pieces is approximately 7"h x 7"w x 1-1/2"d • Depending on how the art is displayed, the total area (for all four pieces) will be approximately 16" x 16" if displayed in a grid or 34" x 7" if hung vertically. Please Note: • This listing is for all four of the individual pieces (Radiate "A", "B", "C", & "D") that make up the "Radiate" set. • Due to differences in monitors/displays, colors may vary slightly from what you see on your monitor. • This piece is considered "made-to-order" and will take approximately 6-8 weeks for delivery from order date. • The photographs used for this listing are from a previous piece. The first in a series of unique and stunning acrylic art coasters. Series 1A contains four (4) coasters each with their own unique design. Great conversation pieces, these coasters are intended to be used as functional art. Coasters are approximately 3.5 inches in diameter and are made out of thick 0.22 inch "Light Blue Tint" acrylic (other colors available upon request).
