There are 4 possible different 'pentiamond' shapes, as shown in the photos. This item consists of 16 pieces (4 of each of the 4 shapes), or 4 sets, where by a set I mean one piece of each of the 4 shapes.
The main photo shows two sets. Another photo shows two shapes, each of which can be made from one set. A crayon and a coin (US quarter) are shown for scale.
The following is a link to a pdf file with dozens of puzzle shapes to try to make with a set of 4 pentiamonds. You should be able to print them and have them come out the same scale as the puzzle pieces, so you can work right on top of the printed puzzle as you try to make if from pentiamonds:

The pieces come with paper backing one both sides. A couple of the photos show the puzzle pieces with this paper backing still on them. The paper backing looks quite nice on one side, as shown, but on the other side there are visible burn marks in the paper from the laser cutting process. So you will probably want to peel the paper off.
