Upholstery Leather - Driftwood
What is it
Rustic full grain upholstery leather, finished with oils and waxes. Suede finish on the underside. This tannage creates a subtle pull up effect giving it a warm 2-tone Aniline appearance. Natural markings and defects may be seen, and these hallmarks are part of the character of the leather.
This material is cut leather side up with suede underside covered with protective transfer tape to stabilise the sheet. Detailed or large areas of raster engraving are not recommended as it can cause the material to warp. Check out this forum post for a cool example of raster engraving this leather
To determine the optimum engraving depth for your design, we suggest prototyping or purchasing a sample of this material from out sample store.
