Orders using this material generally ship in 1 week. Find out more.
Design notes
Please read THINGS YOU MUST KNOW FOR CNC ROUTING before starting your CNC design. There is a lot of important info in there that you need to know to create correctly formatted design files.
This plywood has a thickness tolerance of +/-15% of the material thickness.
Top face will be clear of knots or patches, back face may have small "football" shaped patches of matching veneer. Inner plies may have knots which can be exposed during machining. Edges will still feel rough to the touch unless sanded but typically better quality (tighter grain, with less tear-out) than standard plywood. Much stronger and stiffer than regular plywood. Edges are sometimes left exposed as a decorative element
Typical uses
Great for furniture, fixtures, toys, models, artwork, much more...
Adhesives, joints & fastenings
Takes fasteners well but pre-drilling is recommended. Glues well with standard woodworking glues, hot melt or construction adhesive.

Tips from other designers
Description mentions top face and bottom face,
and it sounds like the top face is higher quality.
Which side is toward the CNC router? How do we specify this?
Greetings! If one side is a higher quality than the other, it is left facing UP. I hope that helps.
Hi Josh - thank you for the clarification.
In the future it would be nice to let people specify this.
I'm drafting another design (for a cajon drum)
and the "good side" doesn't matter for now,
but only the side without pockets will be visible.
Clif
Hi Clif - I agree that having a clear system for specifying orientation would be ideal in future. For the meantime, you could request a specific option in the 'Special Shipping Instructions' and our CNC production team will do their upmost to follow that. Once we should have it fully integrated into the ordering system it will be more assured, of course. Cheers!
