What is it

Grey paperboard, like grey cardboard, is made from 100% recovered paper. It is used as a packaging material, for book spines and covers or in model making. Our grey paperboards with thicknesses of 1.5 mm and above consist of glued layers that have a fibrous web mat made from bogus paper glued to them as a final covering layer - which means that both surfaces are smooth.

Because grey cardboard is made from recovered paper and is not bleached it can be that the grey tones will vary slightly in the different thicknesses.
