Design your own products with Ponoko

This file is the first of a pair which makeup a small travel size orange juicer. I love fresh squeezed orange juice but don't have room in my tiny kitchen for a juicer. In addition when traveling I have to forgo fresh juice because even manual juicers are quite large.The goal of the design was to create a juicer which was as small as possible but still functional. In the first draft of the design the straining cutouts were too close to the supports and after a few uses the strainer began to break. I have increased the distance which will hopefully create a more robust juicer. The juicer is far from perfect and when i find more time I will improve it. As it is the size is tiny and perfect. However the juicing could be better. Firstly i would like a product which is stronger and can tolerate more force. The present design requires a light touch when juicing which means longer juicing time. Second the half circle juicing surface doesn't break apart the orange as well as I would like. Possibly adding teeth or indentations to the edge would help.
