#1 is the backer, #2 is glued on top of the backer, # 3 are the middle sections slighty thicker than the other 2 sections (5 pieces) which can be painted and then glued in the center of the other two. I used 1/8 BB for #1 and #2, then for the middle 5/32 poplar.
