A free plan for a Japanese style geta sandal. Designed for 9mm thick MDF material. I'm sure you can improve on this plan alot if you want to make it. :) Try getting rid of half the nodes for starters, make the shapes share more cut lines to lower the cost. Adjust the dimensions and try doing it without nodes all together. If I were to make it again I might add another layer to the back heel.
-Sandal is 10″(256mm) long, 4.5″(118.3mm) wide. 2.25"(60mm) tall.
-5mm nylon rope seemed to work ok as a strap material.
-Held 175 pounds without snapping in half...
