Mounting board for Arduino Diecimilla / Duemilanove (and clones). The mounting board measures 171mm x 137mm and in addition to an Arduino board it will also take a 16x2 LCD screen and up to 840-point breadboard. [sorry about the photos being squashed, I will fix this soon. also, the spelling of Duemilanove has been fixed in the EPS file]
I designed this product in order to keep my Arduino electronics projects tidier and easier to move about without wires popping out all over the place when I try to move it. Other products I've seen online only hold the arduino and a small (~400-point) breadboard and no LCD display, or are designed for specific purposes and to be mounted into 19" racks. The main components can be added to the board simply using nuts and bolts. I use 14 plastic nuts and 4 plastic bolts (M3-12 size). To fit the nuts/bolts, simply insert the bolts up through the board from underneath, screw on a nut to each bolt, drop in your components (i.e. arduino and LCD) and finally screw on the final nuts. The breadboard can simply sit on the acrylic, or can be attached to the board by using double-sided sticky tape (Some boards, like mine, come with a sticky pad on the back).
This EPS file works nice with 3.0mm acrylic (pictured in photos is 3.0mm Transparent Neutral acrylic).
NOTE REGARDING 16x2 LCD: The LCD that I designed this board for was based on the Winstar WH1602B (datasheet link below), although you can modify the EPS file easily to suit other LCD modules.
