The concept for this bangle began with the idea of combining 2d shapes together to create the illusion of a compound curve. The surface features fine engraved lines to tie the piece together. The sections slot together and a small amount of glue will be added to ensure the joints are strong for the life of the bangle. The bangle was designed to minimise waste and number of cuts to increase efficiency. This was achieved by designing the cross sections so that then tessellate. The minimises the environmental impact and the production cost of the bangle.
