In Africa, certain tribes wear jewellery to keep evil spirits away from their body. The earrings I designed are a Western variant on this concept. The Aids virus is one of our evil spirits, and wearing these earrings intimately reminds you of its now a little less invisible presence. In this sense they are real 'earring aids'.

Each earring is shaped like a cell of the Aids-virus, which has a natural beauty of itself. Made out of black acrylic, these pieces will definitely get you noticed.
