I found the challenge for a lasercut necklace would be to provide flexibility around the neck from a flat piece of material...
I went for the classic look of diamonds ( emerald cut ), cut out of shiny black acrylic, with engraved detailing. Each diamond features slits through which a strip of gold leather is simply threaded. No need for glue or fasteners, the leather ties into an elegant bow at the back of the neck. The resulting necklace is striking and modern with just a touch of bling...
Depending on the occasion, the user can add or remove some of the diamonds.
(note: the concept model shows flat diamonds, but ideally they would have a thickness of 3 mm)
