This piece is from the Cut Paper collection by Arthur Baker.
Cut from folded paper like snowflakes, these magnificent, intricate designs translate beautifully to the sophisticated black acrylic. Difficult to ascertain the origin of the design without much help, I have included the section diagram to show where the calligraphic composition derives from.
This beautiful piece is the letter "e" which would be a perfect gift for anyone who's name begins with a "E." These can coordinate with both the solid and lacy versions of the pendant.
Measuring 1 1/4" across and 2" long including the earwires, these are extremely lightweight. Available in your choice of color of ear wires - gold-plate or silver-plate over surgical steel or sterling silver.
Please understand that the complexity of the number of laser cuts is the major factor governing the cost of the piece. The more complex and large the piece, the more it will cost to manufacture and therefore for you to purchase.
Eventually, all letters of the alphabet as illustrated in Arthur's book, "Calligraphic Cut Paper Designs," will be made for the line - let me know if you would like to see the drawing for your particular letter.

All pieces in this line will offer you choices for customization - you will be able to select your choice of neck chain (or pin back), earring type, size (on many designs) and color of accessories all included - however, certain chains and bails are Sterling Silver and therefore there is a small additional charge for these. For now, all pieces will be produced in 3mm black acrylic with various accompanying options. This customization may require up to 2 weeks additional time, but where else can you get a custom piece of jewelry designed by the foremost American Calligrapher and Type Designer and author of over 20 books on calligraphic forms?!?
